This is a Solo Hazard 5 Egg Hunt with Engineer Class that shows off the FATBOY Overclock for the Deepcore 40MM PGL. FATBOY is a popular overclock that turns your grenade launcher into a mobile tactical nuclear weapon launcher at the severe cost of ammo. Rather than just the primary explosion, it also leaves a radiation field in it's wake that last for a short time and does heavy damage to anything that walks, rolls or flies through it.
In the build I'm using here, the PGL can hold 5 nukes which is the max you can carry at one time. It's a great support weapon that does massive damage but it's considerably harder in solo play because when you get overwhelmed you can't just take a couple of crowd clearing shots like you can with the Breach Cutter or even a standard PGL build. That's why I take the "Stubby" Voltaic SMG with it to get some electric slowdown, fast rate of fire and range that lacks a bit with the shottie I use in most of my other builds. I take armor break modifications on the Fatboy PGL in case I need to drop some larger enemies easier as well because the Stubby just isn't as effective at armor breaking and I usually rely on my absent Breach Cutter to peel armor off bugs in my other builds.
